Epic First Look

Many of my brides-to-be have asked me, what exactly is a First Look? It's one of the options I have listed on my wedding quote questionnaire and it's one of my favorite parts of the wedding day! It's when the almost newlyweds first lay eyes on each other BEFORE the ceremony. It's a very special, intimate, private and sweet moment shared just between the couple; away from their friends and family. I honestly believe they even forget I'm there capturing those precious moments. This session takes nothing away from that walk down the aisle. When they see each other again at the ceremony, it's in a completely different environment and mood. This time their family and friends get to witness them see each other, and it brings out a whole other set of emotions for everyone! Yet, the couple have their First Look to keep & cherish just for themselves. Dan + Katie's First Look was EVERYTHING! When I met them about a year ago, I knew capturing their day would be a day to remember. These high school sweethearts are just too cute for words. I've gotten to know them a little over the past year and I'm so glad our paths crossed. I have to admit, I almost.. ALMOST got a little teary eyed during their First Look... so sweet! Their wedding ceremony was held at Manassas Baptist Church and reception at Piedmont Club. Here's a peek into their perfect day:
