Matt + Hannah | Surprise Arrival Engagement Session

I normally meet with my couples sometime before the wedding to go over everything. This time I met with just the super sweet bride-to-be and her delightful mama. Hannah had already let me know in our previous communications that Matt wouldn't be able to make our meeting because he was proudly serving our country in the Army, in Hawaii!! And to top that off, she said he wasn't coming to VA until two days before their wedding!!! I immediately started to envision his arrival: Hannah would be waiting for him at the airport, I'd be there to capture their reunion. Hannah was all in and we started to plan for it. Little did she know that a few weeks after our meeting Matt got in contact with me and told me he's actually arriving one week before their wedding and that Hannah had no idea. Oh you should've seen the wheels spinning in my head already coming up with a plan to capture his surprise arrival. Thanks to two of Hannah's bridesmaids (shout out to Alexis and Danielle) we were able to pull this off! I met Matt for the first time about an hour before, we hid in the vineyards of Wilderness Run Winery waiting to make our move.
